Top Wasters does not collect, transport, store, or dispose of waste. All waste collection and disposal services are carried out by independent, self-employed subcontractors engaged by the customer.
Subcontractors act at all times as independent contractors and are solely responsible for the collection, handling, transportation, and lawful disposal of waste, including compliance with all applicable UK environmental legislation and licensing requirements.
Top Wasters accepts no responsibility for the physical handling or disposal of waste.
Subcontracting & Scope of Service
1. Service Role
Top Wasters operates solely as a waste brokerage and job allocation service. The Company does not collect, transport, store, treat, or dispose of waste.
2. Independent Subcontractors
All waste collection and disposal services arranged through Top Wasters are carried out by independent, self-employed subcontractors. Such subcontractors act at all times as independent contractors and not as employees, partners, or agents of Top Wasters.
3 No Possession or Control of Waste
Top Wasters does not at any time take possession, custody, or control of any waste. Responsibility for the physical handling, transportation, and disposal of waste rests solely with the subcontractor performing the service.
4 Legal & Regulatory Compliance
Subcontractors are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to holding a valid Waste Carrier Licence, complying with environmental legislation, and issuing any required waste documentation.
5 Customer Relationship
The contractual relationship for the waste collection and disposal service exists between the customer and the subcontractor carrying out the work. Top Wasters’ role is limited to the introduction and allocation of jobs.
6 Limitation of Responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Top Wasters accepts no liability for the acts, omissions, or performance of subcontractors, including but not limited to waste handling, disposal methods, or regulatory compliance.
