How we Provide Rubbish Removal in London?
We use a weight-based pricing system for our standard “man and a van” rubbish removal prices (actually, it’s two guys in a cage van with 12 cubic yards of load space). The standard waste removal charge covers us coming to pick up the rubbish, shove it in a van and take it to the nearest appropriate waste handling depot – and you know how there’s a charge involved in dropping stuff off at these, so what you pay us covers this as well. Because we’re licensed waste handling agents, we get a discount here, which means that we can pass the savings on to you. We don’t charge call-out fees, however, no matter where you are in the Greater London Metropolitan Area (and we go everywhere inside the circle of the M25). We do have to factor labour time into the equation so that waste removal jobs where we just have to turn up and shove a few bin bags or boxes of junk into the back of our trusty vans don’t cost as much as fiddly jobs that take ages.
We start with the equation of 1 van load = 1 tonne = 1 hour of labour for two guys = £250. What if you don’t have 1 tonne of waste to dispose of? Don’t panic – not many people have this much rubbish sitting around the average London property, and we will come out to take away small rubbish loads as well as big ones. To save you going mad with the maths or if you’re not completely sure how much your rubbish weighs, here’s the standard charging plan for basic straightforward jobs: rubbish removal prices
Our Prices
Okay, so this is the bit that you really, really want to know. We do our best to keep our prices competitive and we can give you as accurate a quote as we can with absolutely no obligation on your part (although we’ll admit to being a tad disappointed if you don’t decide to be one of our customers). Send us a picture of the junk that you need taken away and tell us all the details, and then we can give you the most accurate quote we possibly can.
The Fine Print
Don’t you hate those things that look like great deals but tell you they have terms and conditions – and then they put the Ts & Cs in teeny little print in some obscure part of the site down the bottom of the page? Well, we hate that sort of thing as well and because we’re here to make your life easier, we’ll tell you up front about the most important fiddly legal stuff.
- If we quote you a price over the phone or by email, then this is just an estimate (i.e. our best guess). However, things don’t always go according to plan and rubbish can end up being heavier than you expect. Annoying things like parking and access can also make the job not quite go as planned. We might have to take time pulling something to bits to get it out through a doorway our out of the attic, for example. These unexpected bits and pieces will mean that the job of removing your rubbish make take longer and we will have to add a bit more onto the bill to cover this (we need to make sure that our hardworking team members get paid fairly, after all, as we don’t want to be one of those crappy employers that nobody wants to work for).
- You can cancel a booking if you want to and we won’t charge a cancellation fee.
You’ll find the full list of Ts & Cs over on their own page. We have to do this for legal reasons to cover our backsides in case of things like riots in the streets or other things generally going to custard – but at least we’ve put it in readable font and simple language to make it easy for you.
