Rubbish Sorting
Sometimes, even getting all the rubbish into one place is just a bit too much for you. Possibly, a relative passed away and left a really, really messy home behind them. Perhaps those bad tenants moved out of your rental property and left a whole heap of junk behind them. Some of the bits and pieces will be good enough for re-sale, some will be recyclable and some will be just plain rubbish. But what falls into which category? And when are you going to find time to do it all?
Well, the good news is that all you need to find time for is to contact the Top Wasters team. We can not only take your rubbish away but we’ll sort it out as well, separating the true trash from the treasures that can be taken to a dealer or thrift shop, or to a recycling centre.
Recycling
If you’re like most people these days, you’ve probably had the three Rs drummed into, and we don’t mean reading, writing and ‘rithmetic. Instead, we mean reduce, reuse and recycle. There’s a good chance that you’ve already set up some sort of system for collecting recyclable materials, either at your home or your workplace. For example, you may be a school or early childhood centre that has a box or bin for old paper and cardboard. Or your office may have a bin for collecting things like drink cans and bottles. Or your shop may collect up old boxes and cartons and store them until they can be taken away and recycled. The possibilities go on and on!
Anyway, as is the case with anything considered to be waste, someone needs to take it away once you’ve gathered it together. This is something else that we do here at Top Wasters; what’s more, we’re very proud to be able to help people with their efforts to reduce waste, recover resources and do their bit to protect the planet! Our main service- rubbish removal includes all the rest- house clearance, office clearance, furniture removal and building waste disposal. Sorting and recycling rubbish is crucial for several reasons, playing a pivotal role in environmental conservation and sustainable living. Sorting and recycling rubbish help conserve valuable natural resources. By reusing materials such as paper, glass, plastic, and metal, we reduce the demand for raw materials, lowering the environmental impact of resource extraction and processing.
A couple of sources have claimed that London has the lowest recycling rate in the country. It’s time to change that, and we’re here to help you do this. No matter which part of the Greater London Metropolitan Area your home or business is located in, we can help be part of your recycling strategy – yes, even if you’re in one of the areas that appears on the naughty lists for recycling!
Fun recycling fact: Did you know that if every person in the city recycled just one glass jar every year, this would provide enough glass to completely replace half of the windows in the Shard? Two glass jars each and we’d all save enough glass to re-do the whole building. It’s enough to make you want to start recycling glass jars and bottles right away!
